How is a scent oil made?

Any scent starts its journey with a basic of 3 layers. They are known as the

1) Top Note

2) Middle Note

3) Base Note

Top Note: The top note contains all sorts of punching scents such as citrus and spices. Usually, the top note in perfume oil form can last from 1-3 hours if worn correctly. The top note evaporates quickly in alcohol mixed perfume and fades away from a few seconds to a few minutes. Few examples of top notes are Lime, Lemon, Orange, Cinnamon, Clove and more.

Middle Note: The middle note contains mild scents, typically floral scents, which provides a melody in one's nose. The middle note in perfume oil would last anywhere from 3 hours to 6 hours if worn correctly. In alcohol mixed perfumes, the middle note last between 2 to 3 hours.

Base Note: The base holds the smell and allows the fragrance to fade slow. Base notes are usually deep and such as the smell of wood, musk, amber and more. The last note in a perfume oil can last from 1 day to multiple days. In alcohol mixed perfume, it stays between 8 hours to 12 hours.

The composition of the scent is something that creates memories and is an art on its own. Alcohol spoils the nature of perfume oil by minimizing the lasting effect. You pay a hefty price for your perfume, and it should last like the price you pay. Grab the oil not the mix.
